Yet, the philosophy behind it has remained the same:

To help the next generation of great, world-conquering companies forward.

Slush is a two-day conference, with pre-events and an opening party on the day before. During the conference days, the program runs from 10am to 7pm on four stages. After this, partner events and parties will keep you connected and entertained for the whole evening.

By 2015, Slush became Northern Europe’s largest tech startup event. Besides the conference, the Slush experience includes many side events worth to visit.

As a Part of Slush, Slush 100 is a pitching competition which presents one hundred of the best seed-stage companies on stage at Slush. Each year, there have been competitors from Europe, North America, Russia, Asia, and even Australia and Latin America.

The competition runs across both days of the event, and will culminate in the finals held at the main stage of Slush 2015 before the closing ceremony.

Last year, the winner of the Slush 100 competition, a Budapest-based fraud stopper startup, Enbrite.ly  won an equity investment of 500,000 euros made by Evli Bank and an angel investor syndicate gathered by the Finnish Business Angel Network. The funding round has in fact increased to $750,000 since, and the company has also brought top industry experts from the angel syndicate on their board as advisors. This sum was thelargest ever offered in a pitching competition.
