24 finalists have been announced, among there we can proudly announce 4 projects from Central Eastern Europe in the Intel Business Challenge Europe 2012 final that will be held in Poland between 24-26 September. The Intel Business Challenge Europe 2012 is part of Intel Global Challenge, worldwide Intel and UC Berkeley technology business plan competition for university students, graduates and young entrepreneurs organized since 2005.

In collaboration with prestigious education institutions and non-profit entrepreneurship organizations across Europe Intel is building business and entrepreneurship awareness among young people in the region as well as strong relationship with its key stakeholders.

Winners of Intel® Business Challenge Europe (and other regional competitions) go to the Intel Global Challenge finals held at UC Berkeley in November 2012. Almost 4,000 ideas were submitted through 20 affiliated competitions and on-line platform.  Among all the nine categories (including nanotechnology, robotics, biotechnology, electronics, or energy), the most – almost half – of  all the projects were submitted in the areas of Software and IT and Mobile and Wireless.

These final projects were selected by the pool of international Judges representing business as well as academia. The evaluation was based on the Business Plan and the Elevetor Pitch Video that each team prepared for the 2nd Round of the competition.
